LA CROSSE, Wis. – Two program records fell Friday night as members of the St. Scholastica women's track & field team competed at the Eagle Open, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Laurel Ohaju (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Central HS) broke her own 200-meter dash record for the second consecutive week with a time of 25.77 seconds to finish fourth overall.
Danielle Dickson (Roseville, Minn./Totino Grace HS/Roseville HS) broke the other program record on the night in the long jump with a leap of 17'4.25” (5.29m) to finish in sixth.
Rachel Miller (Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) was second in the triple jump with a mark of 36'6.25” (11.13m).
Alec Seeley (Cadott, Wis./Cadott HS) was third in the hammer throw with a mark of 169'10” (51.78m).
Brea Durovec (Meadowlands, Minn./Floodwood HS) was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:09.78.
Becky Huberty (Lena, Wis./Lena HS) was sixth in the shot put with a toss of 41'3” (12.57m).
Alex Blair (Drake, Saskatchewan/Lanigan Central HS) was seventh in the high jump, clearing 5'0.25” (1.53m).
The Saints will have one more last chance meet in La Crosse next week Thursday, beginning at 4 p.m.
