ST. PAUL – The St. Scholastica men's track & field team took part in the Holst Invitational, hosted by Concordia University-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon amid windy conditions at Sea Foam Stadium.

#Pat Bigaouette# broke the lone program record on the afternoon in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:18.65 seconds to place second in that event. #Jimmy Linn# took third overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:14.56 seconds, missing the program record by three seconds.

#Peter Drinkwine# won the triple jump with a distance of 41'-8.5” (12.71m). #Zach Visina# took second in the high jump, clearing a height of 5'-11.25” (1.81m). #Tony Evans# was sixth in the javelin, throwing a distance of 136'-11” (41.73m).

The Saints will have a pair of meets in Duluth next week, beginning with the Twin Ports Open on Tuesday at 2 p.m. (Weather pending). A decision whether the meet will take place Tuesday will be decided Sunday afternoon. Their second meet will be the North Country Invite on Friday at 11 a.m. Both meets will take place at University of Minnesota-Duluth's Malosky Stadium.
