Last Action:  The Saints took part in the Quality Inn & Suites Turkey Shootout on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  The Saints fell to UW-Stout on Saturday 90-53 and to #21 UW-Whitewater on Sunday 76-46.

St. Scholastica Saints (0-5)
The Saints have had a start less than ideal as they have dropped the first five games to begin the season.  The Saints have had a tough non-conference schedule thus far facing off with MIAC and WIAC teams.  Sammy Doucette (Colfax, Wis./Colfax HS (UW-River Falls)) has only played in three games, but is leading the team in scoring averaging 10.7/game.  Caitlin McKernon (Coon Rapids, Minn./Fridley HS) is right behind Doucette averaging 9.2 points/game off the bench.  Laura Amys (South Range, Wis./Superior HS) is far and away the team leader in rebounds, averaging 7.4/game.  Mariah Hovick (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) has been one of the Saints' top defenders as she leads the team with 12 steals so far.  Elena Huber (Northfield, Minn./Northfield HS) only averages 3.8 points per game, but is the team's top three-point shooter at 55.6% from beyond the arc.

UW-River Falls Falcons (4-0)
The Falcons couldn't have asked for a better start winning their first four games, including going undefeated at the Luther Tip-Off Classic at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. The team is riding momentum early in the season, which was intensified with a nine point comeback and buzzer-beating game winner vs. Concordia-Wisconsin.  The Falcons have two players who average double digits in scoring in leading scorer Tiffany Gregorich (15.5 ppg) and Alise Holst (11.8 ppg).  Gregorich also shoots an outstanding 60.6% from the field.  Also finding much success this season is Maranda Dohrn who averages nine points and a team leading 12.5 rebounds per game.

Last Meeting: (CSS All-Time Record vs. UW-River Falls: 8-16)
The Saints and Falcons last met in late December of last year where River Falls doubled up CSS 48-24 in Reif Gymnasium.
