DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team had four relay teams competing at the prestigious Drake Relays on Friday and Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa and those not at Drake were competing in the Drake Alternatives at Gustavus Adolphus.
On Friday, the 4x100-, 4x200-, and 4x400-meter relay teams competed at the Drake Relays. The 4x100-meter team of #Stacey Peterson# (

The 4x200-meter relay team of Krause, Walrath, #Caitlin Vaughan# (
Fr.-Superior, Wis.), and #Amber Hogen# (
Fr.-Amery, Wis./Osceola) finished in a time of 1:52.04 seconds. Finally on Friday, the 4x400-meter team of Peterson, #Hallie Miller# (

So.-South Range, Wis./Northwestern), and #Jennifer Plaetz# (
So.-Lucan, Minn./Wabasso) had a time of 4:02.21 seconds.
On Saturday, the spring medley team of #Mariah Berg# (
Fr.-Bagley, Minn.), Plaetz, Peterson, and Hughes ran a school record time of 4:11.19 seconds to finish 16th of 23 Division II and Division III schools.
Also on Saturday was the Drake Alternatives, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus. #Alec Seeley# (
So.-Cadott, Wis.) headlined that meet as she broke her own school record and more importantly met a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying mark by winning the hammer throw with a distance of 160'-2” (48.81m). The throw currently ranks as the 16th best this season in the country.

Fr.-Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson) also broke two school records at Gustavus. Miller won and broke her own school record in the triple jump with a leap of 35'-3.25” (10.75m). She also broke the school record in the javelin throw with a distance of 102'6” (31.24m).
