Jr.-Gilbert, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert), #Jennifer Plaetz# (
Fr.-Lucan, Minn./Wabasso), Aarestad, and #Nicole Hughes# (
Fr.-Lake Nebagamon, Wis./Northwestern) broke the only other school record of the day with a time of 4:03.44 seconds, which was good enough for third. #Tara Connolly# (
Jr.-River Falls, Wis.) also ran a career-best time in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:56.07 seconds.
For the men, #Jake Turman# (
Sr.-Duluth, Minn./Central) just missed the school record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.06 seconds. That .08 second slower than the record. Also, #Wendell Booth# (
Fr.-Deer River, Minn./Grand Rapids) could not better his distance in the long jump, so he will have to sit and wait on whether he will qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He will know that over the weekend.
