MINNEAPOLIS – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat North Central University 76-72 tonight for its first win of the season.
The Saints improve to 1-1 overall, while this was the Rams' season opener. CSS improves to 15-2 all-time against the Rams.
North Central got off to a hot start, shooting 58-percent from the field in first half. On the other hand, the Saints shot just 38-percent in the first half, which resulted in the 41-30 deficit at the half.
It was the total opposite in the second half as the Saints shot 56-percent and the Rams shot just 34-percent as CSS out-scored the Rams 46-31 in the half to win by a score of 76-72.

Fr.-Andover, Minn.) added 16 points and #Bryan Johnson# (
So.-Randolph, Wis.) scored 13 points and nailed three, 3-pointers. Those three also tied for a team-high with six rebounds each. Jeremy Grilley had 17 points to lead North Central.
