Tyson Terry begins his fourth season on Coach Wick’s staff for the 2014-15 season. Terry, a native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, came to St. Scholastica prior to the 2011-12 season after spending one season as an assistant with the Wenatchee Wild in the NAHL. Prior to that, he was an assistant at Manhattanville College for two seasons, where he worked with the defensemen and guided the Valiants to a top 10 ranking statistically in goals-against-average both seasons.
In his two years with Manhattanville, the Valiants had a combined record of 36-10-6 and were the 2010 ECAC West Conference Tournament Championship. Terry was also heavily involved in scouting/recruiting, video and statistics at Manhattanville. He monitored academic progress of players and the team had a GPA above 3.3 in his two years.
Prior to coaching, Terry played college hockey at SUNY-Geneseo where he was part of an NCAA Tournament and conference championship team in 2006. He then went on to sign a pro contract with the Colorado Eagles of the CHL in 2007.
Terry earned his Masters Degree in Sport Business Management in 2010 and married former UW-Superior softball standout Erin Kegley in the summer of 2012.
