Jake Lewis enters his 5th year as an assistant coach at Scholastica in 2025-26

Lewis’ on-field duties are comprised of working with the Saints Catchers and assisting the Pitching staff. He recently finished his third year coaching in the prestigious Northwoods League in the summer of 2025 for the Duluth Huskies. The Northwoods League is a collegiate summer league known for producing MLB talent such as Max Scherzer, Chris Sale, and Pete Alonso. During his time with the Huskies Jake Served as an assistant coach and first base coach.

Before becoming part of the Scholastica coaching staff, he spent five seasons as the head pitching coach and outfield coach at Proctor High School (Proctor, MN). During his time at Proctor, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach for the Rails. Lewis Played collegiately for the University of Wisconsin Superior. During his four-year career he amassed over 150 innings pitched over 35 appearances for the Yellowjackets. In 2016 he was awarded with the UWS Pitcher of the Year award.

A Proctor, Minn. native, Lewis has his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, earned in 2016 (UWS). He also has his teaching certificate from Bemidji State University.
