DULUTH, Minn. — The College of St. Scholastica is proud to announce its Hall of Fame Class of 2025, recognizing six individuals who left a lasting mark on Saints athletics through their exceptional achievements and dedication. This year's class features four standout student-athletes, one dual-sport star, and a longtime supporter of Saints athletics.
Kelsey (Kehtel) Peterson '14 – Women's Soccer
One of the most decorated players in program history, Kehtel graduated as the Saints' all-time leader in both goals and points. A four-time First Team All-UMAC selection, she was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Year multiple times and helped lead St. Scholastica to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
Tom Lyscio '12 – Men's Track & Field
A dominant force in the throwing events, Lyscio earned multiple UMAC titles in the shot put and discus and still ranks among the top performers in program history. He qualified for the NCAA Championships during his career, setting a standard for excellence in Saints track and field.
Nina Waidacher '15 – Women's Hockey
A member of the Swiss National Team, Waidacher shined on the ice for the Saints and internationally, competing in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and helping Switzerland win bronze. At CSS, she was a consistent offensive presence, ranking among program leaders in scoring while elevating the visibility of Saints hockey on the international stage.
Katie (Motley) Price '10 – Women's Tennis
Motley graduated as one of the most accomplished tennis players in Saints history. She was a perennial All-UMAC performer, playing a key role in the program's run of conference dominance. Her consistency and leadership helped establish CSS tennis as a perennial championship contender.
Chelsea (Johnson) Peterson '13 – Women's Cross Country & Track & Field
One of the most decorated athletes in school history, Johnson's accomplishments include becoming the first individual NCAA National Champion in any sport for St. Scholastica. She captured the 2013 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Title, earned multiple All-America honors in track and field, and remains a landmark figure in Saints athletics history.
Dave Cook '91 – Distinguished Service
A longtime supporter and contributor to Saints athletics, Cook is being honored for his decades of service to the program and the Duluth sports community. Cook has been the public address announcer for the Saints since 2000, has called every single Saints sport that includes that component, and has won multiple campus and community awards. His commitment to student-athletes, coaches, and the mission of St. Scholastica athletics has left a lasting impact both on campus and beyond.
Induction Ceremony Information
The 2025 Hall of Fame Induction will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium, following a 6:00 p.m. social in the Student Center. The induction is part of Homecoming Weekend, which also includes Saints volleyball, football, and soccer contests.
Tickets for the public are available at advancement.css.edu/register/halloffame. Admission includes both the social and the ceremony, with hors d'oeuvres provided.
Hotel Information
For those traveling to Duluth for the event, a special "St. Scholastica Hall of Fame" hotel block has been arranged at the TownePlace Suites Duluth. The block runs from Friday, October 10 through Sunday, October 12, 2025, with a special rate of $139 per night. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 15, 2025.
