Duluth, Minn. – The Saint Scholastica men's tennis team hosted the Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus College in a MIAC Conference doubleheader for their final game of the season. Today's match ended with the Saints taking a 9-0 loss.

Doubles
Jack Onkka (Thief River Falls, Minn./Thief River Falls HS) and Dane Patten (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) ended their match with the closest margin of victory in doubles play. They finished their match with a score of 5-9.
Reece Patten (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Alex Daigneault (Agua Dulce, Calif./Hart HS) were not far behind in the No. 2 doubles spot, finishing with a score of 4-9.
Finally, at the No. 1 doubles spot were Jonas Abeleda (Sydney, Australia/St Aloysius' College) and Eamon Gerrard-Stace (Brisbane, Au./St Joseph's Nudgee College). They finished with a score of 3-9.
Singles
D. Patten was the only Saint to go into three sets. While he finished short of victory, he ended with scores of 2-6, 6-3, 0(10)-1(12).
Gerrard-Stace, who competed at No. 3 doubles, held his match close, finishing with scores of 5-7 and 3-6.
Abeled was not far behind him, at No. 1 singles, he finished after scoring 3-6 and 0-6.
Harper Dircks (Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS), at No. 4, and R. Patten, at No. 5, both finished with similar scores. Dircks scored 6-2 and 6-0, while R. Patten scored 6-0 and 6-2.
Finally, Nicolas Greis Coria (Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Trinnean's School) competed at No. 6 singles. He got shut out by his Gustie opponent, finishing with scores of 0-6 in both sets.

The Saints finished their season with an overall record of 8-9 and a conference record of 4-5.
