Hanover, NH - Two Saint Scholastica Nordic Ski athletes raced at Dartmouth College for the first day of the NCAA National Championships. The event for day one was the 7.5 km individual classic, with Greta Leitheiser (Bend, Ore./Sun Valley Community School) and Chase High (Steamboat Springs, Colo./Steamboat Springs HS) competing in the events.

Leitheiser had a great race despite facing extremely difficult conditions. She finished the first day of the NCAA National Championships placing 24th out of 40 total athletes with a time of 26:09.7.

Head coach Jason Kask also added on her performance: "Greta had a great race today. She showcased her fitness and skiing prowess in conditions unlike any we have seen this season. It was great to see her utilize her technical skill to race so well in a stacked field."
