DULUTH, Minn. – Four members of the College of St. Scholastica women's volleyball team were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Lindsey Baribeau (Biwabik, MN/Mesabi East HS), Cassidy Lustig (Ashland, WI/Ashland HS), Bryn Ziegler (Hutchinson, MN/Hutchinson HS), and Natalie Yackley (New Ulm, MN/New Ulm HS) all earned the honor following strong performances during the 2025 season. Baribeau's selection was particularly notable, as she was also named a finalist for the CSC Academic All-America Team, placing her among the top scholar-athletes in NCAA Division III.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. To be eligible, nominees must be at least a sophomore academically, carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and be key contributors to their team.
A key offensive contributor throughout the season, Baribeau finished the year with 178 kills while averaging 2.74 kills per set and added 63 total blocks, providing a steady presence at the net. Lustig played a vital all-around role for the Saints, totaling 106 kills and 200 digs while contributing on both offense and defense across the lineup.
Ziegler proved to be a versatile contributor in the back row and serve-receive game, recording 259 digs while also adding 31 assists during the campaign. Yackley anchored the Saints' offense from the setter position, leading the team with 629 assists and averaging 9.68 assists per set, while also recording 150 digs to support the defense.
The CSC Academic All-District Team serves as a qualifying round for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with Academic All-America honorees to be named on January 13, 2026. For the full list of CSC Academic All-District honorees, click here.
