Ten Saints Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors; Three Named Academic All-America Finalists

DULUTH, Minn. — The College of St. Scholastica proudly announces that ten Saints soccer student-athletes — six from the women's program and four from the men's — have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Teams. Women's honorees include Bailey Coole (Duluth, MN/Duluth East HS), Hannah Holm (Elk River, MN/Elk River HS), Peyton Mathiasen (St. Cloud, MN/St. Cloud Cathedral HS), Lily Rippie (Inver Grove Heights, MN/Rosemount HS), Kaitlyn Sautter (Princeton, MN./Princeton HS) and Tenly Voth, while the men's selections feature Jakob Jansen (Lengerich, Germany), Parker Chastey (Duluth, MN/Denfeld HS), Fabian Andrade (Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Intisana) and Ben Hallberg (Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS). Three Saints — Rippie, Chastey and Hallberg — have additionally been named finalists for the prestigious CSC Academic All-America Teams, with final selections to be announced December 16, 2025.

The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. To qualify, nominees must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, participate in at least 90% of their team's contests or serve as a primary starter, and demonstrate significant on-field impact throughout the season. The honor is one of the most competitive academic recognitions in collegiate athletics.

St. Scholastica's women's team placed six student-athletes on the Academic All-District list after a season marked by balanced production, totaling 20 goals, 22 assists and 124 shots on goal. Junior midfielder Peyton Mathiasen (St. Cloud, MN/St. Cloud Cathedral HS) logged more than 1,400 minutes while contributing two goals and two assists, and senior forward Kaitlyn Sautter (Princeton, MN./Princeton HS) added two goals and a team-high five assists across 20 starts. Sophomore forward Tenly Voth posted two goals and two assists across 17 appearances, while junior Lily Rippie (Inver Grove Heights, MN/Rosemount HS), now an Academic All-America finalist, anchored the midfield with two assists and over 1,450 minutes of play. Senior defender Hannah Holm (Elk River, MN/Elk River HS) contributed key defensive minutes in 18 contests, and goalkeeper Bailey Coole (Duluth, MN/Duluth East HS) strengthened the Saints' rotation in net throughout the year.

On the men's side, four Saints earned Academic All-District distinction following a productive season in which the team recorded 21 goals, 16 assists and 109 shots on goal. Senior Parker Chastey (Duluth, MN/Denfeld HS), an Academic All-America finalist, tallied three goals and three assists while starting all 18 matches as one of the program's central playmakers. Fellow finalist Ben Hallberg (Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) anchored the defensive unit with 18 starts and two assists, helping the Saints limit opponents to just 1.33 goals per match. Senior midfielder Fabian Andrade (Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Intisana) added three goals and one assist across 18 appearances, providing stability and experience in the middle of the field. Junior goalkeeper Jakob Jansen (Lengerich, Germany) played over 1,500 minutes and recorded 68 saves, serving as the Saints' primary presence in goal.

Together, these ten student-athletes exemplify St. Scholastica's commitment to academic excellence and athletic achievement.
