Superior, WI. - The St. Scholastica volleyball team will travel to Superior, WI. to participate in the UW-Superior Tournament on Friday and Saturday, September 6-7. The Saints will participate in both days of the tournament with doubleheaders each day. Game one of the tournament will begin at 3 p.m. against the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with game two of day one commencing at 5 p.m. against Martin Luther College.
On day two of the tournament, the Saints will start the day with a match against Marian University at 12 p.m. and the last game of the tournament for the Saints will be against the home team and host of the tournament UW-Superior at 2 p.m.Â

A Look at Our Opponents
University of Mary Hardin-Baylor during the 2023 season, had an overall record of 27-2 and 13-1 in their conference matchups. They are currently 4-0 this season and will be facing the Saints for the first time in program history.Â
Martin Luther College ended last season with an 8-19 record overall and a 6-8 in conference play. The last matchup between the two teams was during the 2020 season, the Saints took the win in three straight sets. MLC holds a 2-2 record thus far in the 2024 season.Â
Marian University concluded its 2023 season with an almost .500 record of 15-14 overall and a 7-6 conference record. The Saints have only seen Marian University in two showings, the last one being in 2015. The Sabres are 1-1 through the beginning of the 2024 season.Â
UW-Superior finished out their 2023 season 10-4 in conference play and 19-11 overall. The Saints have seen the Yellowjackets almost every season in the past 20 years. The Yellowjackets are 4-0 to begin the season.
