Jessica Cherry Appointed to NCAA Skiing Committee

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The College of St. Scholastica's Athletic Director Jessica Cherry has been appointed to serve on the NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Committee. Cherry will serve a four-year term on the committee, beginning on Sept. 1, 2024 and continue through August 2028.

"What a privilege it is to serve on the NCAA Ski Committee representing the College of St. Scholastica and the Central Collegiate Ski Association", said Cherry. "St. Scholastica has a celebrated history of Nordic Skiing and I look forward to working with my exceptional committee members to advocate and support skiing in this region."

Cherry, was named Director of Athletics at St. Scholastica in July 2022 and has over 28 years of experience working in athletics. She has served as an Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance, Senior Associate Athletic Direcotor and Senior Women's Administrator, Deputy Title IX Officer, Senior Associate Director, Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and has been actively engaged with Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC) during her career..

A native of New York, Cherry earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from Skidmore College (N.Y.) in 1988 and received her Masters degree in Health and Physical Education from Tennessee Technological University in 1991.
