BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – St. Scholastica senior shortstop Aislind Dail (Sumner, Wash./Sumner HS) and senior outfielder Kari Breuer (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) earned All-Conference accolades from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the league announced on Monday afternoon. This year marks the highest number of players to earn All-Conference as they had two honorable-mention award winners last season.

In addition to individual awards, MIAC coaches also selected 36 players All-Conference with 15 more receiving honorable mention distinction. All awards were nominated by and voted on by the 12 MIAC head softball coaches and only statistics from regular season MIAC contests were considered for conference honors; any nominated player not selected as All-Conference but still receiving votes from at least three coaches was named honorable mention.

For Dail, this is the first time in her career that she receives conference recognition of any kind. She appeared in all 36 games, where she led the team with a .356 batting average, 13 doubles, four home runs, 21 RBI's, 11 walks, .644 slugging perctange, and a .427 on base percentage. She also recorded 31 hits, 18 runs, and was 7-for-7 on stolen bases. During the entire year in league, she was fourth in slugging percentage, 15th in doubles, and seventh in home runs. In MIAC games only, she had the 23rd best batting average with .382 and was fifth in slugging percentage with a .727. Dail was ranked 11th in doubles and 14th in triples, and fifth in home runs.

Head Coach Kallee Wilkins said, "Aislind was a key player this season, she produced big time hits in the moments that we needed them and was a leader on the field as well. Aislind deserves this award for all the hard work she has put in all these years."

Breuer was an Honorable Mention All-MIAC choice in 2022, but makes her first appearance on the All-MIAC list. Breuer played in 25 games this season, where she was ranked third on the team with a .313 batting average. She recorded 25 hits, nine runs, four doubles, one triple, 12 RBI, and a .388 slugging percentage. Breuer had an on base percentage of .36- and had 13 stolen bases this season, which ranked tenth overall in the league this season. In MIAC games only, she second overall in stolen bases with 11, 30th in hits, 31st in RBI's and 33rd in doubles.

Wilkins added, "Kari came in clutch twice in the season with a walk-off against two MIAC teams. She led the outfield and was a momentum stopper with her speed in the outfield. Her hard work paid off with this award and it is most definitely deserved."
