ST. PAUL, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica volleyball team headed over to the cities for a conference matchup with St. Catherine University on Friday evening. St. Kate's took the first two sets over St. Scholastica 25-18 and 25-13 before the Saints would be able to claim the third set 25-21. The Wildcats then would continue to dominate the match as they grabbed the fourth set 25-9.
The Saints continue to battle with their opponents, either coming out strong in the first set or being able to win a set in the contest, in fact the last three matches for the navy and gold have resulted in a 3-1 defeat. In the overall series with these two teams, St. Kate's has seven wins to the Saints six.
Leading the team in kills was
Lindsey Baribeau (Biwabik, Minn./Mesabi East HS) with 11 kills, right behind her was
Ava Swangstue (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River HS) who managed nine kills on the evening.
Natalie Yackley (New Ulm, Minn./New Ulm HS) had 18 assists in the contest, while the trio
Olivia Bauer (Faribault, Minn./Faribault HS),
Bryn Ziegler (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS), and
Mikala Peterson (Mora, Minn./Mora HS) all had nine digs.

Quinlyn Rubeck (Fall Creek, Wis./Fall Creek HS) and
