Boone and Eben Ebai Jr. Lead CSS Indoor Track & Field MIAC Honors

MEN'S INDOOR ALL-MIAC | WOMEN'S INDOOR ALL-MIAC

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's and women's track & field teams had six individuals receive All-Conference recognition on Thursday by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), led by Samuel Eben Ebai Jr. (Yaounde, Cameroon/P.S.S. Mankon) and Calvin Boone (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Highland Park HS) for their performances at the MIAC Indoor Championships last weekend.

Eben Ebai Jr. and Boone earned All-MIAC honors in multiple events. Eben Ebai Jr. won the 55m and 200m conference championships both in program record times, while Boone won the mile run in a program-record time and placed third in the 1,000m run.
 
 Individuals that place in the top three of an event earn All-MIAC accolades.
 
Four Saints Named Honorable Mention
Derek Douglas (Escanaba, Mich./Escanaba HS) earned honorable mention accolades in the men's 600m run after placing sixth in the event.
 
Ellie Sholing (Wabasha, Minn./Wabasha-Kellogg HS) was also sixth in the women's 600m run to earn honorable mention laurels.
 
Anna Becker (Buffalo, Minn./Maple Lake HS) and Lily Beneke (Green Isle, Minn./Sibley East HS) placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weight throw to be named honorable mention.
 
Individuals that place fourth to sixth in any event earn honorable mention status.
