csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team fell by a score of 7-2 on Thursday to Springfield College (Mass.) in its final action down in Florida.
Doubles
The No. 2 doubles team of
Anna Ritchie (Becker, Minn./Becker HS) and
Martina Garcia (Cuenca, Ecuador/Catalinas HS (Eastern Florida State College)) won 8-1. Ritchie and Garcia have won three straight matches. The Pride (6-0) were victorious in the other two doubles matches.
Singles
Garcia was the only Saint to record a singles victory at the No. 2 spot by scores of 7-6 (7-5) and 6-4. For Garcia, it was her fourth straight singles win.

The Saints (5-3) are off until next Friday when they host the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) action at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center.
