First Half
The Saints struggled in the early minutes of today's game, as the lone points on offense was a three pointer by Cade Goggleye (Nett Lake, Minn./North Woods HS), as Carleton took an early 11-3 lead.

After a Saints timeout, Luke Raymond (Hudson, Wis./Concordia Academy (UW-River Falls)) shined on the Saints' next two possessions, getting two layups to fall while also grabbing an offensive board to cut the deficit down to four points.

The Saints went cold for the next few minutes, as the Knights extended its lead back up to 10, until Nick Carlson (Canyon, Minn./South Ridge HS) got a three-pointer to go, followed by a jumper by Noah Winesett (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), and a three-pointer by Yohanes Addiss Gebeyehu (Shoreview, Minn./Roseville HS), as CSS trailed by just eight.

Carlson got his second three-pointer of the half to fall and a minute later Winesett got a three of his own, making the score now 26-22 in favor of the Knights.

Raymond converted the final Saints bucket of the half with five minutes to play, as CSS had a hard time finding the bottom of the net in the closing minutes, as Carleton took a 33-24 lead into halftime.

Second Half

The Knights quickly extended its lead in the second half, as the Saints found itself down 18, until Kevin Thomas (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) scored on back-to-back possessions, to spark the Saints' offense.
