Men’s Soccer Picks Up Another MIAC Road Win

WINONA, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team scored a pair of first half goals to defeat Saint Mary's University 2-0 on Wednesday for its second consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) road victory.
 
How It Happened
The Saints got on the board in the 24th minute with goal by Finigan Huffington (Georgetown, Cayman Islands/John Gray HS). Romario Willis (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College) was credited with the assist. Then in the 31st minute it was Nolan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) scoring unassisted to extend the lead to 2-0.
 
The CSS defense then was able to limit the Cardinals (3-4-0, 0-3-0 MIAC) to just two shots in the second half to preserve the 2-0 victory.
