MOORHEAD, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team made it a clean sweep in Moorhead on Saturday as its two first half goals stood up in a 2-1 victory over Concordia College-Moorhead to earn the program's first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) win.

Abigail Shrode (Hamilton, Mich./Hamilton HS) gave the Saints the lead in the seventh minute with an assist from
Kaiya Quam (Oakdale, Minn./Mounds View HS). Then in the 16
th minute it was Quam again assisting, this time
McKenzie Nelson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), as the Saints led 2-0.
It stayed 2-0 until three minutes into the second half when after three consecutive corner kicks, the Cobbers (3-5-0, 0-2-0 MIAC) cut the lead to 2-1. Neither team got a shot a goal in the final 30 minutes as the Saints prevailed 2-1
