csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica volleyball team played at another NCAA Division III school located in Dubuque, the University of Dubuque, where it fell in three sets to No. 15 Carthage College (Wis.) on Saturday.
How it Happened
The Firebirds (9-4) never trailed in the opening set and won by a score of 25-18. The second set saw CSS lead by an 11-6 score until Carthage went on a 9-1 run to take a 15-12 lead. The Firebirds led the rest of the way to take the second set 25-20.
Carthage never trailed in the third to take the set and the match 25-22.

Caitlin Schneeweis (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Mary)) led the Saints with 11 kills.
Jessica Remer (Grand Forks, N.D./Sacred Heart HS) added nine kills.
Alcia Draper (Williams, Minn./Lake of the Woods HS) finished with 15 digs and
Katie Brostrom (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) with 15 digs.
