Women’s Soccer Shut Out at Stout

MENOMONIE, Wis. (csssaints.com) -- St. Scholastica's women's soccer team fell 3-0 against University of Wisconsin-Stout at Nelson Field on Saturday night.
 
In a high intensity game, CSS played with a tight defense and held Stout (3-0-1) until the 36th minute of the first half before they scored. They went into the second half only down 1-0. Despite some tough defense in the second half, Stout still managed to score two more goals before the game ended.
 
St. Scholastica freshman Ella Stritesky (Otsego, Minn./Rogers HS) had her first collegiate shot on goal.
 
Stout's three goals were scored by Marissa Steele, Lexi Boyd, and Carly Kauffman
