DULUTH, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team dominated its second game on Tuesday, winning against Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) opponent Crown College 4-0 up at Saints Field. The Saints commanded the game from the start, kept possession throughout the match, took over 30 shots, and came out unscathed in a 4-0 victory.

The Saints played offensively from the beginning, taking 16 shots in the first half, eight coming from junior
Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) who scored her first goal of the match 13 minutes in with a high left shot.
Brea Archer (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) also took multiple shots throughout the first half, putting even more pressure on the Crown goalkeeper.
The Saints entered into the second half with a 1-0 lead thanks to a save by CSS goalkeeper

With a 2-0 lead early on in the second half, the Saints continued to pepper Crown's net with shots. In the 59
th minute Friday scored a goal with another shot to the low right corner stretching the lead to 3-0. The Saints made quite a few subs in the second half, allowing fresh legs to get into the game. In the 77

Mara Roberts (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd HS) played a long through ball up the center. Friday controlled it, got in front of the net, and made a low center shot to secure her hat trick.
The Saints added to their long-running win streak against the Storm, ending the game with four goals and 17 shots in the second half to Crown's zero.
