MANKATO, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Junior Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) scored five consecutive goals as the St. Scholastica women's soccer team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Bethany Lutheran College on Saturday.
 
How It Happened
McKenzie Nelson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) put up the first goal of the game for the Saints in the 14th minute with an assist from Friday.
 
Then it was the Friday show with five consecutive goals. Her first came in the 21st minute. Her second came less than three minutes later in the 24th minute. Her third came in the 31st minute. Her fourth goal came in the final 25 seconds of the first half. Then her fifth goal came in the 53rd minute. Kaiya Quam (Oakdale, Minn./Mounds View HS) assisted three of those goals. Mara Roberts (Brainerd, Minn./Brainerd HS) and Brea Archer (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) also had assists during that stretch.
 
Nelson added her second of the game in the 62nd minute. Hunter Zamzow (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's School) scored on a free kick in the 74th minute and Sami Szendrey (Two Harbors, Minn./Two Harbors HS) scored the final goal of the contest, her first collegiate, in the 81st minute to make the final 9-0. Ellie Keillor (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) had the assist on the final goal.
