Game 1: Luther 8, CSS 0 (F/5)
The Norse (4-2) scored all of their runs in third, fourth and fifth innings to win in five, 8-0.

Luther scored all three of its runs in the third after two outs. The Norse then recorded four hits in the fourth to push three more runs across and then won on a double steal in the fifth to make the final 8-0.

Nicole Anders (Port Angeles, Wash./Sequim HS),
Olivia Howe (Scandia, Minn./Forest Lake HS),
Mara Seurer (New Prague, Minn./New Prague HS) and
Toni Bishop (Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) all recorded hits for the Saints.

Game 2: CSS 10, Luther 6
The second game saw both teams combine for 24 hits and Luther commit six errors as the Saints jumped out to an 8-1 lead to win 10-6.

The first three CSS batters in the bottom of the first reached via a Luther error. However, the only run that came across was
Kari Breuer (White Bear Lake, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) who scored on a wild pitch to make it 1-0.

After the Norse tied it in the top of the second, Breuer ripped a two-run single to give the Saints back the lead at 3-1. Anders and Howe followed with RBI singles to make the score 5-1.

Two Luther errors in the fourth led to three St. Scholastica runs with Breuer, Howe and Anders coming across and Seurer with a RBI.

Both teams added a pair of runs in the sixth inning with Seurer and
Heidi Stewart (Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS (Saint Mary's)) recording RBIs for the Saints. The Norse tried to make things interesting in the seventh, pushing three runs across, but the Saints prevailed 10-6.

Olivia Howe (Scandia, Minn./Forest Lake HS) improved to 4-0 on the season, striking out four and allowing only three earned runs. Breuer was 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and three runs scored.
