JACKSON, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Concordia University Wisconsin Friday night at the Pleasant Valley Tennis Club.
 
Doubles
The No. 1 team of Julia Maier (Hamburg, Germany/Heidberg Gymnasium) and Madilyn Jankila (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) fell in a tiebreaker at the No. 1 spot 8-7.
 
Singles
Maier also went to a super-breaker at the No. 1 singles spot, before falling. The Falcons (1-1) won the other five singles matches in straight sets.
 
Up Next
The Saints (1-1) will be off for the next couple of weeks before returning to action to face the University of St. Thomas on Sunday, March 14 in Minneapolis.
