The Pointers were able to find the back of the net once this period. Their celebration was short lived as the Saints came back and scored their fourth goal in the period less than 30 seconds after UWSP scored. This final goal of the period was LaRoche's second goal of the period and was assisted by Lauryn Hull (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly HS). At the end of the period CSS was now up 4-2.
