Men’s Soccer and Hamline Play to a Draw

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com)- The St. Scholastica men's soccer team hosted Hamline University at Saints Field on Saturday where it tied its conference opponent 1-1.
 
How It Happened:
The Saints took the lead in the 35th minute of the game. Finigan Huffington (Georgetown, Cayman Islands/John Gray HS) scored the first goal of the game and was assisted by Zach Madill (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS).
 
The Pipers (2-8-2, 0-3-2 MIAC) tied it up in the 54th minute in the second half to make the score 1-1.
 
As time ran out the score remained tied. After two overtimes, the teams remained even with a final score of a 1-1 tie.
 
Up Next:
The Saints (6-6-1, 2-3-1 MIAC) travel to Macalester College Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for another conference matchup.
