DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica men's soccer team hosted the 10th-ranked Oles of St. Olaf College this afternoon in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) matchup. The Saints tried their best to contain St. Olaf's offense, but fell in this contest 1-0.

How it Happened
The first half saw the Saints hold their own defensively, holding the Oles high powered offense who entered today's contest averaging 3.29 Goals per game, scoreless as both teams could not find the back of the net in the first half, making it 0-0 at halftime.

In the 47th minute, St. Olaf (16-1-1, 10-0-0 MIAC) broke the tie with a goal to make it 1-0. It would be the only goal of the afternoon as CSS struggled to get anything going offensively. St Olaf. held the Saints' offense in check and took the matchup 1-0.
