COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – No. 5 Saint John's University scored touchdowns on its first six offensive possessions en route to an 81-0 victory over the St. Scholastica football team on Saturday at Clemens Stadium.
How it Happened
The Johnnies (8-0, 6-0 MIAC) didn't have a scoring drive of over four minutes in the first half and also had a scoop-and-score as the score stood at 54-0 at the half. Saint John's had a pick-six early in the second half and added three more offensive scores in the second half.
The Saints offense got inside the Johnnie red zone once in the first half and again in the second half, but in both instances turned the ball over on downs.
