csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team was defeated by the University of St. Thomas 9-0 Sunday afternoon at the Virginia Indoor Tennis and Pickleball Club.
Doubles
The No. 1 team of
Elizabeth Fink (Rochester, Minn./Rochester Century HS) and
Madilyn Jankila (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) took five games off of their opponents, but fell by an 8-5 margin.
Singles
The Tommies (5-0) won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Madeline Samz (Burnsville, Minn. /Burnsville HS) won the most games at the No. 6 spot, falling 6-3, 6-1.
