What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-CSS is coming its first win of the season, a 9-0 drubbing of North Central University (Minn.).
-In the victory sophomore
Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) became only the third player in program history to record at least five goals in a game.
-Friday is three points shy from 50 for her career.
-Junior goalkeeper
Alexa Gothard (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Lake Superior College)) did not see a shot to earn her first shutout as a Saint.
-After Tuesday's home game against Macalester, the Saints will be on the road for five straight games with their next home game not coming until October 12.

-The Auggies are will face fellow UMAC program the University of Northwestern (Minn.) on Friday before traveling to face the Saints.
-Augsburg had their first home game of the season last Sunday, defeating Loras College (Iowa) 4-2.
-The Auggies rank seventh in the nation, averaging 25.2 shots per game.
-Augsburg is led by Ashley St. Aubin, who has four of the team's 12 goals.
-St. Aubin scored all three goals in last year's victory over the Saints in Minneapolis.
-St. Aubin is a two-time All-American and a three-time First Team All-MIAC choice.
-The Auggies are the preseason co-favorite to capture the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) crown this season.

-Macalester has played only one home game thus far and that was in their last contest a 1-0 loss to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
-Alice Beda has two of the team's three goals thus far.
-Goalkeeper Kayla Togner leads all MIAC goalkeepers with 35 saves.
--The Scots have been picked to finish seventh in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this season.
