Women’s Track & Field Begins Indoor Season

RESULTS

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's track & field team opened the indoor season on Saturday, by hosting The Opener in the Burns Wellness Fieldhouse.
 
Top Performances
Anika Kling (Hudson, Wis./Hudson HS) was runner-up in the 200m dash with a time of 26.60. Kling was also fifth in the 60m dash, posting a time of 8.01.
 
Elizabeth Poskie (Cotton, Minn./South Ridge HS) was second, but the top collegiate finisher in the 5,000m run, finishing in a time of 22:06.90. Melissa Pfeiffer (Savage, Minn., Prior Lake HS) was fourth in that event with a time of 22:33.24.
 
Lexi Erickson (International Falls, Minn./Falls HS (St. Catherine)) was runner-up in the high jump, clearing 4'11" (1.50m). Mia Rudeck (Esko, Minn./Esko HS) was fifth, clearing 4'7" (1.40m).
 
Ellie Sholing (Wabasha, Minn., Wabasha-Kellogg HS) was second in the 400m dash in her first collegiate meet with a time of 1:04.26.
 
Natalie St. Marie (St. Francis, Minn./St. Francis HS) was fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 48'2" (14.68m).
 
Lili Tapper (Arden Hills, Minn., Irondale HS) placed fifth in the 600m run in a time of 1:53.48. Dayelise Davidson (Coleraine, Minn./Greenway HS) was fifth in the pole vault, clearing 9'6.25" (2.90m).
 
Up Next
The Saints are now off until 2020 where they will compete at the University of Minnesota Open on Saturday, January 11.
