What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints last played at conference rival the University of Northwestern (Minn.) on December 14 and fell by 77-54 score.
-CSS allowed a 21-0 run in the defeat.
-The Saints enter the holiday break 2-2 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action and is one of four teams with two losses in league play.
-Sophomore
Nick Carlson (Canyon, Minn./South Ridge HS) leads the team in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.
-Carlson is the only Saint to be shooting over 50 percent from the floor with at least 50 field goal attempts.
-Carlson averaged just 3.3 points per game in 26 games a season ago.
-Junior
Jarod Wilken (Annandale, Minn./Annandale HS) is averaging 15.0 points per game and a team-best 8.9 rebounds per contest.
-Wilken also leads the conference with 14 blocked shots.
-Both Carlson and Wilken combined for just eight points in the loss at Northwestern.
-Sophomore
Jack Silgen (Crosby, Minn./Crosby-Ironton HS (St. Thomas)) has scored in double-figures in six of the last seven games.
-Freshman point guard
Cade Goggleye (Nett Lake, Minn./North Woods HS) leads the league and ranks ninth in NCAA Division III with a 3.56 assist-to-turnover ratio.
-CSS has attempted the second-most free throws in the UMAC, but have the second-worst free throw percentage (.613).
What You Need to Know about Central:
Record: 4-5, 1-1 ARC
-The Dutch last played on December 11, which was a non-conference loss at Grinnell College (Iowa).
-Central has won three games by three points or less and have lost two games by three points or fewer.
-The teams have one common opponent thus far and that was Loras College (Iowa), in which both teams lost to.
-Central does have a win over fellow UMAC program Bethany Lutheran College by one point.
-Adam Flinn leads the team in scoring, averaging 22.0 points per game.
-Caden Mauck leads the American Rivers Conference at 10.3 rebounds per game and with five double-doubles.
-Jaden Moody was a second team all-conference choice a season ago and is averaging 17.9 points per game, but did not play in the team's last two games.
-The Dutch rank third in NCAA Division III, making 43.7 percent of their 3-point attempts and rank fifth in the nation in field goal percentage (.527).

-The Roadrunners snapped a five-game losing streak last time out with a one-point conference road win at Rowan University (N.J.).
-Four of the five losses during the losing streak were by four points or less.
-Ramapo has not lost a game by more than six points this season.
-The Roadrunners will open the D3hoops.com Classic against Muskingum University (Ohio) on Saturday, before facing the Saints on Sunday.
-Ramapo has made the NCAA Tournament each of the last three seasons, including a national semifinal appearance in 2017-18.
-Roc McWilliams leads the team in scoring, averaging 15.6 points per game.
-McWilliams also leads the team, averaging 6.6 rebounds per game.
-Travis Bennett leads the New Jersey Athletic Conference with 12 blocked shots.
