How it Happened
The Auggies (2-0-0) got their first goal with eight minutes remaining in the first period with a shot from the left face-off circle. That was the lone goal of the period with Augsburg having a 13-2 advantage in shots.
Augsburg made it 2-0 with 12:32 to go in the second period and then added a short-handed goal with less than six minutes to go in the second period to make it 3-0.

Taylor Murray (Prior Lake, Minn./Prior Lake HS) finding the net for the first time this season to make it 3-1.
Rachel Anderson (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) and

Sam Gorecki (Homer Glen, Ill./Providence Catholic (Chicago Fury)) beating the goaltender to make it 3-2 at the second intermission. Thompson once again had the assist.
CSS would out-shoot the Auggies 9-5 in the third period and had a full power-play in the early half of the period, but could not capitalize as Augsburg completed the sweep with a 3-2 victory.
