ST. PAUL, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Sophomore Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) netted her second hat trick of the season to help lead the St. Scholastica women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over the University of Northwestern (Minn.) on Saturday in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action.

How it Happened
Friday got her first goal of the game only three minutes and 11 seconds into contest. That would be the lone goal of the opening 45 minutes of action. CSS had six shots on goal, while the Eagles (3-9-0, 0-1-0 UMAC) had four.

Less than five minutes into the second half, Friday got her second of game to extend the CSS lead to 2-0. Emily Olson (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) had the assist.

Just over two minutes later, Olson found the net herself thanks to an assist from Janelle Rouillard (Dayton, Minn./Rogers HS) to extend the lead to 3-0.

It was Rouillard again assisting the last goal of the game by Friday in the 62nd minute to make the final 4-0.

Alexa Gothard (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS (Lake Superior College)) made four saves in 78 minutes to earn the win. Chiara DeLuca (Twig, Minn./Proctor HS) played the final 12 minutes and also had four saves to preserve the shutout.
