How It Happened
St. Scholastica got on the board early, when in the 10th minute Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) recorded her 19th goal of the season to put the Saints up 1-0. A few minutes later McKenzie Nelson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) found the net from a nice assist via Friday. St. Scholastica would cool down offensively for a short period of time before Jillian Bielicki (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) would score her first collegiate goal via a penalty kick in the 40th minute. Bielicki's goal was followed up by Grace Beck (East Grand Forks, Minn./East Grand Forks HS) finding Friday to score her second goal of the day in the 43rd minute. At the half CSS would lead over Northland 4-0.

In the 49th minute of the game Friday would connect with the back of the net once again to record her fourth hat trick on the year. 40 seconds later Nelson would find the net again by way of a Friday assist. The icing on the cake and final goal of the game came from Hunter Zamzow (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's School) in the 51st minute to collect their 10th win of the year 7-0. It was Zamzow's first collegiate goal
