csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team was unable to find the net falling at Concordia College-Moorhead 3-0 on Saturday.
The Action
The Cobbers (2-1-0) got on the board in the 15
th minute with a goal by Kirsten Bokinskie. It was Bokinskie again in the 23
rd minute off a corner to make it 2-0.
The Saints put three shots on goal in the first half with
Hannah Zeis (Ashland, Wis./Ashland HS) recording two of those shots.
Concordia extended the lead to 3-0 in the 53
rd minute when Kalli Baarstad scored off her own corner kick.
Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) would get two shots on goal in the second half for CSS, but was denied both times as the game ended 3-0.
Goalkeeping
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) had four saves for the Saints, while Maddy Reed made six saves in the shutout for the Cobbers.
