csssaints.com) – Ashley St. Aubin recorded a hat trick to give Augsburg University a 3-0 victory over the St. Scholastica women's soccer team Wednesday night at Edor Nelson Field.

St. Aubin's first goal came in the 29
th minute beating the keeper far post to make it 1-0 Auggies.
Rachel Dixon (Superior, Wis./Superior HS) and
Lexie DeWall (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS (Morningside)) recorded shots on goal in the first half for the Saints, but Augsburg had a 24-9 advantage in shots in the first 45 minutes.
The Auggies made it 2-0 less than five minutes into the second half with St. Aubin the recipient of a give-and-go and burying another ball into the net.
Both teams were awarded penalty kicks in the final 10 minutes of the game. St. Aubin took Augsburg's attempt in the 83
rd minute and despite
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) getting a hand on the ball, it found the net to extend the margin to 3-0. Less than two minutes later,
Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) would attempt a PK for the Saints, but would be stopped by the Augsburg goalkeeper as the contest ended 3-0.
Notable Performances
Becca Rancour (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS) led the Saints with six shots on the evening. Rudolph registered a career-high with 14 saves in the loss.
Emily Chapman had six saves to earn the shutout for the Auggies.
