DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team and the University of Northwestern (Minn.) played to a 0-0 tie on Saturday at Saints Field in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) battle.
 
How it Happened
The Saints out-shot the Eagles 14-8 in the game, including 9-4 on goal. Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) recorded seven shots herself for the Saints.
 
The Eagles (3-4-3, 3-1-1 UMAC) would strike the crossbar in the 26th minute and CSS put four shots on goal in the final 10 minutes of the first half to no avail.
 
Neither team put a shot on goal in either of the two overtime periods.
 
Goalkeeping
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) made four saves for the Saints. Rudolph has yet to allow a goal in conference play. Samantha Colombo made nine saves for the Eagles.
