What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-After a 0-3-1 start the Saints have rattled off three straight victories in conference play.
-The Saints won the rematch from the 2017 UMAC Playoff Championship in a hard fought 1-0 victory over the University of Northwestern (Minn.) on Tuesday night.
-In the 1-0 victory over the Eagles,
Janelle Rouillard (Dayton, Minn./Rogers HS) scored the game's lone goal off the assist by
Rachel Dixon (Superior, Wis./Superior HS). It was her third goal of the year.
-Rouillard is now five points shy of 50 for her career.
-Junior goalkeeper
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) leads the conference with a 1.13 goals against average and a .851 save percentage.
-Rudolph has recorded a conference-best three shutouts thus far and has 13 for her career, which put her in the top five in program history.
What You Need to Know about Martin Luther:
Record: 1-5-0, 1-2-0 UMAC
-The Knights dropped the first three games of their season without scoring a goal. They then played three tightly contested UMAC games, but could only pick up one win with a 3-1 victory over Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato.
-The Knights are winless at home to start the season, but 1-1 on the road.
-In conference play the Knights have scored six goals, also given up six of their own and have started 1-2.
-Avery Broyles leads the Knights with goals (3) and points (6).
-The Knights have started the season using two goalkeepers but have been rolling with sophomore Mollie Fischer as of late. She's 1-3-0 on the season but has a 2.89 GAA and a .824 save percentage, both lead the team.
-The Knights made an appearance in the UMAC Tournament for the first time since at least 2008 last season, losing in the first round to Northwestern.
