What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints are coming off a split to open the UMAC schedule, sweeping Crown College in the first match then falling to Martin Luther College in the second in four sets.
-The Saints will be at home for the first time in 2018, they were 4-3 in home matches a year ago.
-All UMAC teams only have played two conference matched and the Saints sit in fifth place at 1-1. Though they have a chance to jump ahead of UW-Superior with a win against the Yellowjackets Tuesday.
-Brooke Schermann (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Totino-Grace HS) ranks third in the UMAC with 3.29 kills per set, with 115 overall.
-Schermann was named the UMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
-The Saints rank fourth in the UMAC in hitting percentage at .144%.

-The LumberJills were swept while opening conference play on Saturday.
-Northland is given a tough schedule to open the conference schedule, facing 2017 UMAC Tournament teams in the first five matches.
-Their lone win of the year came against Silver Lake College (Wis.).
-Emma Rusch leads the team with 50 kills.
-The LumberJills were selected to finish eighth in the UMAC preseason poll.

Series History: The Saints swept the season series last year against the LumberJills going 2-0 (3-0, 3-1). The Saints currently have a 45-match winning streak against the LumberJills dating all the way back to 1998.
 
What You Need to Know about UW-Superior:

-The Yellowjackets opened conference play with two sweeps over North Central University and Bethany Lutheran College.
-The Yellowjackets were given an easier schedule to open with opening against three of the bottom four teams in the standings from 2017.
-Their first four UMAC matches are on the road before returning home this weekend to face Crown and Minnesota Morris.
-UWS has four players with 90 or more kills, Ashlee Bayer leads the team with 100 kills.
-The Yellowjackets were predicted to finish third in the UMAC preseason poll.

-After a slow start to the season that saw the Saints go 0-3-1 and not record a goal, they have turned things around to start their conference schedule. They're 2-0 in the first two games and have outscored their opponents 14-1.
-In the bridge battle on Saturday, freshman forward Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) scored two goals to bring her season total to six.
-The Saints have out-shot their last two league opponents by a combined 88-6.
-The Saints had two UMAC Players of the Week, including offensive player of the week Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) and defensive player of the week Lexie DeWall (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS (Morningside)).

-In Saturday's tie to the Yellowjackets Udeme Effiom (Uyo, Nigeria/Secondary Commercial School (Lake Superior College)) came in relief of an injured Corey Bulheller (Middleton, England/Highfields Secondary School (Bacone)) to record the tie.

-The Eagles have leaned heavily on young goalkeepers so far this season, specifically sophomore Austin Gunkel and freshman Aidan Lynch. Lynch is 2-1 with a .833 save percentage with 18 shots, Gunkel is 0-2-0 with a .565 save percentage with 23 shots.

What You Need to Know:
-The Saints have two first-place finishes this season, and three second-place finishes in seven matches this fall.
