What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-Last Saturday's match against Saint Mary's University was postponed. A make-up date has yet to be announced.

Elliot Schneider (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) was the only Saint to win at the No. 2 singles spot in the team's only match against Concordia College-Moorhead a couple of weeks ago.
-In fact, even today he is the only Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) men's competitor to have won a match.
What You Need to Know about Macalester:
-Saturday is the season-opener for the Scots.
-Macalester has been picked to finish third in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season.
-The Scots went 8-9 overall, including 4-5 in the MIAC last season.
-They return five of their top six players from a season ago, including three-time All-MIAC selection Josh Doyle at the No. 1 spot.

Alexia Brascugli (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) was the only Saint to win both in doubles and singles action and was named the UMAC Player of the Week for her efforts.

Sarah Coryell (Golden Valley, Minn./Armstrong HS) enters Saturday with 14 straight singles wins.

Katelyn Rice (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) is 3-0 in singles action thus far.

-Jen Koehler won three matches at No. 1 singles in her freshman season.
