HOUGHTON, Mich. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's nordic ski team slipped back to third in the team standings in the 15km freestyle race at the Michigan Tech Qualifier on Sunday.
Top Performances
Senior
Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Liberty Bell HS) posted another top-10 finish on Sunday, coming home 10
th with a time of 59:27. The other two scoring skiers for CSS were not too far behind. Junior
Greta Jenkins (Palmer, Alaska/Colony HS) was 12
th with a time of 59:44. Two seconds behind her was freshman
Hanna Dahlberg (Ulricehamn, Sweden/Tingsholms School) in 13
th.
Dickinson and Jenkins are the only Saints to have scored in each CCSA race this season. Dahlberg scored for the first time since the classic race at Telemark.
Samantha Benzing (Boise, Idaho/Boise HS) finished 16
th with a time of 1:01:14 to complete the top-20 finishers for the Saints.
Team Scores
Northern Michigan University swept the top three spots to take the team title. Vivian Hett won again with a time of 54:44. Michigan Tech was second with three skiers in the top 11. The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay was fourth.

The Saints are back in Rhinelander, Wisconsin next weekend for the CCSA Championships. Action begins on Saturday at the COVAC Trails.
