csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team returns to Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action and hopes to end a three-game losing skid on Wednesday when it welcomes Martin Luther College.

What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-The Saints dropped two games at the St. Norbert College Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament over the weekend.
-CSS fell to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and Alma College (Mich.).

Collin Anderson (Eagan, Minn./Eagan HS) and freshman
Quinn Fischer (Esko, Minn./Esko HS) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
-For Anderson, that marked the second time this season he was named to an All-Tournament Team (Loras Tip-Off Classic).
-Anderson has scored in double-figures in every game he has appeared in this season.
-Fischer is coming off a career-high 22 points on Saturday vs. Alma.
-Fischer is making 53 percent of his field goal attempts, which ranks second in the UMAC
-Senior
Brandon Newman (Barnum, Minn./Barnum HS) became the sixth Saint to eclipse 1,300 career points over the weekend.
-The Saints have forced the most turnovers per game (15.4) in the conference.
-Three of CSS' seven losses this season have been by six points or less.
What You Need to Know about Martin Luther:
Record: 5-6, 2-2 UMAC
-The Knights will enter Wednesday on a two-game winning streak, but have not played since December 16.
-MLC has won four of its last six games.
-The Knights have been effective defensively thus far this season, leading the conference in scoring defense (68.6 points per game), opposing field goal percentage (.415), blocked shots per game (3.6) and 3-point defense (.275).
-Ian Paulsen leads the conference with 22 blocked shots.
-MLC does struggle offensively, ranking near the bottom of the league in scoring offense and field goal percentage.
-Paulsen leads the team, averaging 9.6 points per game.
