csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica women's soccer team blitzed conference foe Bethany Lutheran College 7-0 Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale. With the win, the Saints clinch their first undefeated regular season in conference play since 2014.

The Saints conquered the first half, with
Morgan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's HS) recording a hat trick. Friday scored in the 15th minute with the assist from
McKenzie Nelson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), in the 29th minute with help from
Rachel Dixon (Superior, Wis./Superior HS), and the third goal came in the 39th minute from a
Lorena Lane (Superior, Wis./Superior HS) assist. The strong 3-0 tally carried over into the second half.
CSS also dominated in the second half.
Becca Rancour (Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson HS) scored twice.
Janelle Rouillard (Dayton, Minn./Rogers HS) delivered a corner to Rancour in the 53rd minute, scoring the Saints' fifth goal of the game. The second goal came three minutes later, with Nelson on the assist. In the 61
st minute, Friday chipped in her fourth goal of the game to increase the lead to 6-0.
With five minutes left in the second,
Emily Olson (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) netted her first goal of the season, raising the Saints final score to 7-0.
Notable Performances
Rancour led the Saints with nine shots, while Friday recorded seven. Dixon amassed three.
Bethany Lutheran goalkeeper Zoe Kinakin stopped 12 out of 19 shots. CSS' goalkeeper
Roni Rudolph (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) saved one shot. Rudolph has now set the single-season program record for shutouts with 13.
