DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's basketball team managed only three field goals in the first half and committed 32 turnovers for the game in a 76-29 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
 
The Action
Sam Brannen (Ramsey, Minn./Anoka HS) made a lay-up to tie the game at 3-3 in the first three minutes of the first quarter, but the Saints would not convert another field goal until the final minute of the first half. Between made field goals, the Yellowjackets (17-4, 12-0 UMAC) outscored the Saints 30-4.
 
CSS made only three field goals in the first half and five in the second half as it was all UWS in a 76-29 victory. The eight made field goals are the fewest in a game in program history.
