csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's hockey team rides a nine-game unbeaten streak into this weekend when it welcomes Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) North Division foes Finlandia University (Mich.) on Friday and No. 1-ranked St. Norbert College (Wis.) on Saturday.

-Star leads the team with 11 assists and 15 points.
-CSS has recorded at least one power-play goal in each of the last eight games and is 11-2 when it scores with the man-advantage.
-That is the longest such streak since the beginning of the 2011-12 season when CSS scored a power-play goal in 10 consecutive games.

Jordan Fralich (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School (Bismarck-NAHL))'s game-winner on Saturday gave him his fifth goal of the season, which is tied with
Davis Ross (Fort Frances, Ontario/Fort Frances HS (Fort Frances-SIJHL)) for the team lead.
-Freshman goaltender
Forbes Ploszaj (Gilbert, Arizona/Gilbert HS (Aberdeen-NAHL)) was named the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
-Ploszaj has won three straight games and has seen his save percentage rise from .904 to .915 in the last two games.
-Ploszaj has allowed 17 goals this season, 10 of which have come on the power play.
-Fellow freshman goaltender
Nick Trenciansky (Vancouver, British Columbia/Holy Cross Regional HS (Kindersley-SJHL)) picked up his third assist of the season in Saturday's win.
-CSS continues to lead NCAA Division III in penalty minutes per game (20.6).
-The Saints have out-scored teams 22-13 in the third period and have three wins when trailing at the second intermission.
-St. Scholastica is 8-1-1 when it records the first goal.
-With eight regular season games remaining, the Saints have all eight games against divisional opponents.

-The Lions have scored just 21 goals this season with no player recording more than two goals thus far.
-The 21 goals are tied for the fewest in NCAA Division III.
-Junior Bryce Mitzel and sophomore Blake Peavey lead the team with five assists and seven points.
-Freshman Marcus Gloss and junior Matt Arnold have split time in goal.
-Gloss earned the win on Tuesday and the tie against Trine University (Ind.) earlier this season.

-The Green Knights have won four straight since falling in a non-league game at MSOE on January 2.
-The only other blemish on the record was a 2-2 tie against Manhattanville College over Thanksgiving.

-St. Norbert is led by senior Tanner Froese, who has 12 assists and 19 points.
